Well now I always see my friend do two things and I don't know if they are even pagan; he always balances a pencil on its tip and has it twirl, and just changes the color of water in his water bottle all the time when he is board. I don't know If it is pagan of not but I can't find out anything about it or even how to do it... I wish I knew how he does some of the things he can that I can’t but he has more experience I guess! I will just keep learning. But if you know the meditation for the pencil balance or water color changing steps tell me what you know!

When he is board?

He turns into a board?

That's amazing!

Exactly which turnip truck do you think we fell off of?

The Buffy board is someplace else.

Well, they're interesting parlor tricks, but they have nothing to do with being Pagan.  I suspect that he may be practicing some slight of hand such as stage magicians use.

Actually in Buffy she can float the pencil.  Twirling it on its tip is from The Craft!  Honestly, don't you know nuffink?

I think Willo did the twirlies in an episode early on in her "Wiccan" awakening.

Could be wrong.

Did see the twirling in The Crapft.  Didn't see any water change color, though.  I have been able to accomplish that first thing in the morning with the water in the toilet, but I'm not sure that's the same thing...........

Laugh Out Loud

Pardon my gross ignorance about Willow.  I obviously don't pay enough attention to the things that matter.

Totally off topic, but you made me think of something, Red.

My roommate is color blind - he can see some colors, but not others.

One week I put one of those "Turn your toilet water blue" cleaning tabs in the tank.  Because I've got a mutant toilet where the bowl itself is very light blue, he never noticed when I did it.  A few minutes later, he knocks on my door, looking very concerned.

"Um.......  I've got a medical question for you.  See.......  well...... I just used the bathroom and what came out was GREEN!  SHould I be concerned?"

Trying not to laugh, I began asking him random questions about his diet, lifestyle, bathing tendencies, etc.  Watched as he got more uncomfy looking by the second.  Then I told him, all serious,

"Well, I'm not a doctor, but......."  wait a few minutes, looking worried....  "I put a toilet bowl tab in this morning.  You're fine"

Ooh, I am so gonna get it when revenge rolls around.  lol

Changing the color of water in a bottle isn't necessarily all that spectacular.  I know there are some compounds that won't go through a reaction unless the bottle is shaken and oxygen introduced.  Shake the bottle, the water changes color.  As it sits, it'll slowly go back to clear.

There's bound to be at least one non-toxic, non-nasty-tasting compound out there that does that.  Or maybe he just doesn't drink it.

Well it is not that the water is changing color, it is not at all, it is all in your head he is making you think it is there but it is not he can do a lot like that some with nothing at all he just has you see it, and he used baby powder once and it was about a dead wolf and he poured the powder out and it stuck to something in the air and was shaken off like a wolf or dog shaking off water or dirt. But as for the pencil it is a balance between positive and negative energies and it doesn’t spin it kind of slowly rotates. Oh and he dosen't have to shake it and there is nothing in it he can turn it when it is in a bowl... Actualy it might be in the book of shadows I don't know but it is kind of like turning water to wine but is is just in color.

Shadowolf,

However your friend is doing this it is not something that is Pagan and it is not some sort of spell...no matter how much he tries to convince you it is.  This is all smoke, mirrors, and parlor tricks.  Sorry, our magic doesn't work that way and isn't wasted on silly stuff like changing the color of water.
