.... I also need to honor and recognize Time. and respect the pace she sets. I need to have faith and not hurry and rush and crash when I dont feel in control of time. Time teaches us many thing's on the path to the goal, and it should be looked upon as a gift  .... Time cannot be rushed anymore then she'll allow...

I hope this is the right forum for this. I was just wondering if this is correct, or is it a cop out? Am I just convincing myself it's not my fault that something isnt working out,or is there some truth to what I thought?

Time just is.

It doesn't care if we're in a hurry or not.  It doesn't care if we like it or honor it or not.

Where that fits in with your idea is up to you.

And this place is pretty much deserted on weekends.  Don't get worked up over a lack of responses.

In times of difficulty, look in the mirror.

It is likely you will see the cause as well as the solution.

Yeah thats the way I was seeing it myself, that we can try to work with time but not force it along. ( I like to romanticize things by the way .) With all this stuff on spells and making things happen I was beginning to wonder if that idea was wrong.
And I wasn't overworked, I thought it was kinda a funny joke to myself... please please please dont take much of what I say seriuosly. Wink

I don't know if this applies to what you are asking or not but this is my take on this. Time is something we as humans have created and does not apply to the Goddess. When you are in circle have you ever been told not to wear a watch? It is becuase when ly ou are in circle you are between the worlds where time does not exist. When it comes to magick time does not exist that is to say that the Goddess works what she wants when she wants. I do not believe that time pertains to deity. As they are between the workds they are here and everywhere all at once.

I want to point out that time manipulation was pretty popular a few years ago in the chaos magician community.  The traditional ideals of time are rather objective, in which man is totally helpless against time.  However, this ideal is rather old.  Fenwick Rysen created a time egregore named Fotemecus that could expand and compress time, not necessarily as objective time, but subjective time (or time perception).  This has been a huge hit as far as the chaote community goes.

In other words, time isn't unbreechable.  Time also depends on perception.  How long a minute is is also dependent on how long we feel as if it is.  A minute might feel like a second, but it could also seem like a million years.  Thus time is not simply objective.
